Alec wanted to ask about Jace's father but decided against it. It was unusual enough that the vampire admitted to having a Shadowhunter name. He doubted that Jace would tell him more than that. "It's something you get used to." It wasn't exactly a lie. Alec was used to it but that didn't mean he liked it. He'd worked since childhood to be Head of the Institute and deep down, he knew his parents would never allow him to have that reward.
Crossing his arms over his chest, he refused to sit down, still giving Jace the 'really?' look as he tried to act charming instead of annoying. "I didn't think you were. You remind me of my little brother. He likes setting things on fire too."
